October Half Term Pumpkin Picking in Woking

My two boys (5yrs + 3yrs) are so very excited about the much-loved Halloween! They have been begging to get the outfit and decoration box out for a month now… They have both decided long since, that they will be a zombie and a skeleton and tried on their outfits at least 50 times!

So, to help all mum’s out there with children who absolutely love everything Scooby-Do, ghoulish and ghostly too, I’ve written a little blog about how we will be spending our October Half Term in and around Woking

We will be heading to Crockford Bridge Farm in Weybridge with some friends for the gorgeous pumpkin display and children-friendly theatre Wonder Woods in the little forest. MY two boys always enjoy seeing the decorations dotted around the display, before selecting from mini pumpkins, an array of coloured gourds and squash including white and green pumpkins or the striped tiger style are very eye catching. I intend to enjoy a hot chocolate while my boys have a go at carving their chosen pumpkins and have their faces painted. The Farm is always hugely popular and includes a lovely play area to round off your day out. Don’t forget your cash for £2 entry and those pumpkins!

From the 20th-31st we will also be off to the Elm Nusery at Sutton Green Road, Woking. This lovely garden centre is a hidden gem with its animal area and sweet café. Dress in your best fancy-dress outfit to enter the competition, take part in children’s craft, fancy and the spooky skull hunt. After my little ones are tired out, I will tuck into some of the ghoulish treats at the café and visit the mini animal farm.

    Happy Ghost Hunting! xx
